El conjunto dirigido por Antonio Vadillo llegó a Le Mans con la confianza del campeón, y no tardó en demostrarlo. A los siete minutos, Gordillo inauguró el marcador con un potente disparo raso tras recoger un balón suelto en la frontal del área. Kairat reaccionó rápidamente, igualando el encuentro dos minutos después con algo de fortuna tras un disparo de Caio Ruiz desviado por Neguinho.
Sin embargo, la reacción kazaja fue efímera. Palma Futsal impuso su ritmo y contundencia en los minutos finales del primer tiempo. Machado adelantó a los baleares en el 18′, cazando un rebote del palo tras un disparo de Ernesto, y apenas 56 segundos después, Rivillos amplió la ventaja con un remate cruzado imparable. Con el 3-1 al descanso, el partido empezaba a teñirse de verde y blanco.
Lo mejor, sin embargo, estaba por llegar. En el segundo tiempo, emergió la figura de Fabinho, que protagonizó un espectáculo digno de una final europea. Cuatro goles en apenas diez minutos, entre el 23′ y el 33′, convirtieron el encuentro en una exhibición. La defensa del Kairat no encontró respuestas, y Neguinho, redimiéndose del gol en propia puerta, puso el 8-1 a falta de nueve minutos.
Aunque los kazajos maquillaron el resultado en los instantes finales, fue Mateus Maia quien cerró la cuenta del Palma con el definitivo 9-4, firmando así la mayor goleada en una final de Champions de futsal, superando los siete tantos que el Movistar Inter logró en 2017.
Con este título, el Illes Balears Palma Futsal no solo entra en la élite del fútbol sala continental, sino que se convierte en leyenda: el primer equipo en conquistar tres Champions consecutivas. Un hito forjado con talento, trabajo y un proyecto que ya es referencia en Europa.
